We had no problem tucking this away or installing it on the lab walls.

The AVR750UNC  also includes 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, six of which provide surge protection and battery backup and six of which offer surge protection only. Additionally, the unit features two switched load banks, allowing users to prioritize power distribution to critical devices during an outage. This load management capability is beneficial for optimizing battery life and ensuring that essential equipment remains operational.

The process briefly switches between the app and a browser for activation, and one tester found a bug that made him initially miss the step for entering an activation code, but it’s otherwise easy to follow.

On the hardware side, a network cable can be connected to the UPS to establish an outbound web connection. The UPS will begin communicating with Eaton, and from there, you can add the device by scanning its QR code. If needed, you can also manually input the serial number.

Once the initial setup is complete, you can access Eaton’s Brightlayer Remote Monitoring software, which gives you complete control and real-time insights into UPS performance, such as voltage, power conditions, and battery health. You can also access detailed logs and trends to help with proactive maintenance and quick responses to power events. The software is user-friendly overall, making it easy to navigate the various UPS settings and manage everything remotely. Let’s look at some of the key sections you’ll find in Brightlayer.

The group management section allows users to organize multiple UPS devices into manageable groups. This is particularly useful in environments with multiple UPS systems, giving users centralized monitoring and management.
